Making Expertise Visible
Discover people with relevant skills and experience
Make Expertise Visible is an open platform that connects communities and organisations with skilled ground-level cadres, diverse thematic experts, and trainers across India. It makes diverse expertise, experience, and practical knowledge more visible and accessible, enabling organisations and communities to identify relevant people, connect with them, and draw on their knowledge for learning, capacity building, programme implementation, and other needs.
Across India, many skilled practitioners, trainers, and ground-level cadres have valuable experience and expertise, yet remain unknown or difficult to find within the wider ecosystem. Make Expertise Visible helps communities and organisations discover and connect with such people—especially those with relevant skills and experience in their own local areas. This enables them to find the right expertise for new projects, learning, capacity building, and other needs, while creating opportunities for local knowledge and experience to be recognised and valued.
